Plot:

Conclusion:

I absolutely loved and devoured this book. It might even be one of my favorite Rick Riordan and Fantasy books. 

This is the second book I the Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard series. 

First of all, I want to point out how gorgeous the colors of the cover are.  

These are the kind of books I want to read to my kids one day. The stories Rick Riordan writes are not only educational but also fun and he has such diverse characters. I feel like having that many characters with different religions, cultures, and sexual orientations is also a great way for kids to learn about them and be tolerant. 

This book kinda messed up the picture of Thor in my head. I always imagine Chris Hemsworth when I think about Thor but know I just can't see him anymore. 

I also really do not mind that this is actually a book for middle-aged kids. 

Something else I really enjoyed was the friendship between Hearth and Blitz and also the friendship between Sam and Magnus. Their friendships show that boys and girls can be friends! 

The last thing I really loved about this book was Alex. He/ She is a shapeshifter and also gender-fluid. Isn't it great that Mr. Riordan writes about so many diverse characters? 

All in all, I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who wants to read about Norse mythology but in a fun way.

Plot:

Conclusion:

This is the third and last book in the Magnus Chase series. 

Let me tell you, it feels bittersweet. 

I loved every single character, chapter, and word. I can't wait to re-read these books and meet everyone again.

The stories about Mallory, T.J, and Gunderson were amazing and it felt really meaningful. 

What was really exciting and interesting about The Ship of the Dead was that it took place during Ramadan. We get to read about Sam and how she is breaking her fast with dates and how she prays.

As I said in my review of the second book in this series, what I enjoyed most about these books is that the characters are so diverse. We have different religions, cultures, and even different sexual orientations and genders. Before I read this book I did not even know about gender-fluid people. Everyone should be as tolerant in real life as the characters were. 

Rick Riordan is an EXTREMELY talented author. The characters he creates are always loveable. The stories he writes are educational but at the same time, they are action-packed and fun stories. He is one of the authors I'm gonna pre-order every single book from, even if I don't know what the book is about. That's how much I trust him. I truly believe that he is not capable of writing a bad book.

In 9 From the Nine Worlds we have multiple short stories about Norse Mythology, including characters from the Magnus Chase series. 

The cover is one of the prettiest covers that I own. 

This book was as funny as Rick Riordans' other books. It was great to read about our characters from the Gods of Asgard world. 

There is a story set in each of the nine worlds of north mythology. The illustrations that are included in this book are also absolutely breathtaking. 

I really don't care what Riordan writes. I'll buy every single book!!

Conclusion:

This book was fascinating!! 

I have never read anything about Norse mythology before and Magnus Chase was a great way to be introduced to the subject. 

Rick Riordan writes such diverse characters and I'm loving it. 

Magnus has the same humor Percy has so of course I really enjoyed the jokes in this book.  Even if it was a fast-paced story it still was packed with action and great adventures. 

I don't know how Mr. Riordan does it but the chapter headings were hilarious. Maybe he was a stand-up comedian in a former life? Well, I don't know but what I do know is that he is extremely funny.

Sidenote: I'm not sure if I'm the only one who sees it but doesn't the guy on the cover kinda look like Kurt Cobain?
