Plot:

When sixteen-year-old Tessa Gray arrives in England, something terrifying is waiting for her in London's Downworld, where vampires, warlocks and other supernatural fold stalk the gaslit streets. Friendless and hunted, Tessa seeks refuge with the Shadowhunters, a band of warriors dedicated to ridding the world of demons.

Conclusion:

'Clockwork Angel' is set in Victorian London and is the prequel to 'The Mortal Instruments'.

Even if you did not like 'The Mortal Instruments' you should try reading The Infernal Devices. It is way better.

The plot, writing style ad characters were amazing. There were so many great quotes about books.

I loved how much Tessa and Will love literature. I also liked their relationship a lot.

Will was my favorite protagonist. He is extremely funny, sarcastic, and very hot.
His friendship with his Parabatai Jem was one of my favorite parts of the storyline.

The only thing I did not like about this book was the love triangle but because it was not as bad as I expected it to be I'm alright with it.

If you like fantasy books, love triangles, or Shadowhunters I would definitely recommend 'Clockwork Angel' to you. It was a great first book to a new series by Cassandra Clare.

5 out of 5 stars
