                                                                            Plot:

When college freshman Rowan Michaels meets gorgeous, up-and-coming rock star Adam Everest, she knows a player like him is the last thing she needs after her ex-boyfriend shattered her heart. But she can't stop thinking about the kiss they shared on his tour bus.
On the first day of school, Rowan is stunned when Adam saunters into her French class. He's soon failing miserably, and, on a whim, she offers to tutor him. But Adam doesn't recognize her as a makeup-free, glasses-clad college student—a far cry from the beautiful, mysterious "Peach" he met at his concert.
During a wild weekend on tour with the band, Rowan can't help falling for the sweet guy buried beneath Adam's rocker persona. Yet she knows she could never compete with the girls constantly throwing themselves at his feet. She'd just end up hurt … again.
Peach is all Adam thinks about, though, and when Rowan realizes this, she has a decision to make: stay just friends to protect her fragile heart … or reveal the truth about the night they met and admit she's fallen completely, hopelessly in love with him.

                                                                                              Conclusion:

Mayhem by Jamie Shaw was my first rockstar romance story. I'm so glad I found this book.  It is a very cute slow-burn love story and was an easy read.

As this was my first book with this type of storyline I didn't know what to expect and just went in without any expectations.

Adam is the leadsinger in the band  'The Last Ones To Know'. When he's not singing for his fans or drinking with his best friends aka his band mates, he is going to college. He was much sweeter than I was expecting him to be. I thought he might be a bad boy or something like that but that was not the case at all.

Rowan is a typical innocent good girl with good grades. It's funny how she tries everything so Adam wouldn't realize who she is and how his friends knew who she is, but he never noticed.

I loved the nickname ( which is 'Peach' by the way) that Adam gave to Rowan. It's really adorable.

I first read this book in 2017 and I have reread it every year since then. It is one of my go-to reread books when I just can't start a new book. It's also one of those cute stories I can read when I'm sad because it always makes me happy.
