The Perks of being a Wallflower is my favorite book of ALL TIME! This book got me back to reading after not reading for at least two years. I have lost count of how many times I've read this book. Just looking at it brings back so many feels

This is basically just a big collection of Charlies' letters, which he is writing to a stranger during his freshman year of High School. 

Charlie is just so freaking loveable. He is such a real and genuine person. I loved his friendship with Sam and Patrick.

I feel like Charlie is showing that it is okay to be different, that you don't need to be popular to have great friends and fun. He showed me that I should stay true to myself and good things will come out of it. 

The Perks of being a Wallflower is a coming-of-age story about finding yourself, true friends and lots of teenage experiences.
